Hi! I'm Beth - you've probably guessed that by now, though - and this is going to be my fashion and beauty blog.
I've been reading beauty blogs for ages, and decided it was about damn time I started my own, since I love beauty products and I like blogging!
I'm plus size so I'm looking forward to writing about clothes for us bigger girls, since so many shops seem to think that fat ladies only want to wear shapeless black things, and I know that's not true - well-fitting clothes are so much more flattering, whatever your size, and I like a bit of colour in my wardrobe, so these are the kind of things I look for when I'm buying clothes for myself. While I'll be using this blog mainly to talk about beauty products, I'm hoping to do a weekly outfit post. I find clothes are even more fun with winter approaching - you can wear so many more things! There's cardigans, tights, coats, gloves, scarves, hats and more layering opportunities than you can shake a stick at, if you were inclined to shake sticks at such things, which you probably aren't, because that'd be a weird thing to do, wouldn't it?
I'm also on a budget (I work in a supermarket!), so I won't only be writing about high end products, as I know it can be disappointing to read about a wonderful product only to find out it's not an option for you unless you sell a kidney on the black market, which really isn't a good idea because your kidneys are kinda useful.
A bit about me: I'm 24 (and I will turn 24 again in December because I don't want to be 25 just yet) and live in north east England. I graduated in 2009 with a joint degree in Journalism and Sociology, which has been tremendously useless (significantly less useful than, say, a kidney) so far but, hey, it was fun. I make jewellery (and blog about that over here). I'm a dog person. And a cat person. And a mouse, parrot, fish, ferret, budgie, rat, chinchilla person. I just really like animals, okay?!
Anyway, my first proper post is going to be about my Boudoir Privé box, and I'm about to go and do that right now, so watch this space!
